Trainee to Financial Services Area Manager
Mike joined the company in November 2003 as a trainee mortgage advisor, working initially in the Edgeley Branch as a Sales Negotiator for 6 months. He then moved into our Explora Mortgage Solutions department to begin is training as a Mortgage Advisor, staying for a further 6 months whilst undergoing intense training and completing his, even more intense, exams. After becoming a fully fledged Mortgage Advisor, covering several of the Stockport Branches, he was promoted to Area Manager in 2006 and now has 9 branches under his remit
Banker to Estate Agent
At the tender age of just 23 it is fair to say that Carly has tried her hand at a good number of careers before discovering that it is not just the career you want but the people you work with that help you realise your destiny!
After leaving school, Carly trained to be a joiner, worked for HSBC as an office junior, worked for an estate agent for 3 years and then became a travel rep for Thomson's working in Spain.
After returning to England she went back to what she enjoyed the most, being an Estate Agent, joining Edward Mellor as a Sales Negotiator in July 2006. Now, just eighteen months later, she is Manager of one of the biggest branches in the company.
